Part I – The Current Nightmare Ask anyone who watches FOX “News”, and they’ll tell you that they represent “Real America,” which of course implies that everyone else is only playing at being American. If they were asked to take a hard and honest look at the problems facing this country in today’s world, it is easy for most people to identify the five or six overriding issues that deeply affect the most Americans. I would bet that the following issues would make most people’s top ten.
We’ve all come across people who just seem incapable of modifying their perspective based on new data being presented. Most of us still mouth the words that additional education (or indoctrination/propaganda as is often the case) is what is needed since surely this person will turn around if his/her consciousness is sufficiently expanded with additional data backing your perspective. The Baby Boomers have long controlled our government. As the obstacles to our nation’s progress have mounted, Baby Boomer political leaders have largely sought to deflect responsibility, avoid tough decisions, and instead focus their efforts on discrediting their political opponents. As the Boomers have grown in their influence, they have not only failed to solve problems, but in many ways, they have left American Democracy worse off.
Why the moment has arrived to create worldwide political party to confront the problems facing the world. It is time people united to fight poverty, corruption, war, human rights violations.
